Leicester Pride Live Stage 2006

There will be a four hour live music show at Leicester Pride on June 24th.

Because our Pride is a free, public event, performance fees will not be paid to those appearing at our show. We will be asking artists to donate their time free of charge.

The stage line-up is now open to applications from singers, singing groups, musicians and bands. The main stage will offer professional artists but there are other avenues for amatuer performers.

This year's stage line up is being organised by Leicester-based entertainments agency Pink Angel Promotions - artists and bands wishing to offer their services should complete the artists registration form on their web site - click here to go to that form.

Applications are open until 15th May 2006.

Our music policy reflects Leicester Pride's commitment to diversity and inclusivity. We therefore particularly welcome applications that reflect our multi-cultural and diverse community.

Pre-Pride Music Shows

In order to raise funds for Pride and to provide a run-up entertainments programme, a series of live music shows are being held in Leicester.

These will feature a range of bands and singers. Some of the performers appearing on the Festival Stage on June 24th will be featured in these shows. The shows are organised by Pink Angel Promotions, and they can be contacted via their web site.

Bars, clubs and other venues who want to offer their support for the entertainments programme are encouraged to put on live music events. Contact us to find out how we can help your venue to do this.
