Summer of Love Parade

Floats, bands and walking groups paraded through the centre of Leicester on Pride day with loads of lovely rainbow umbrellas to wave. Local newspaper, the Leicester Mercury brought out a 4 page wrap around feature, as part of their coverage of the Pride festivities.

There was good coverage of the event by other local media including all the radios stations and ITV central Region.

Live stage all day at the Victoria Park Festival

Leicester Pride's free, live stage put on a fabulous line up of local talent on the Stage. Singers, bands, dancers - a complete variety show from 1.30 p.m. through to 8 p.m. - saw a happy and appreciative audience gathered in front of the crush barriers.

Dance Tent

Top local DJs got hundreds of feet moving in the Dance Tent with their variety of dance anthems, from Asian through to Rock, as well as the dance classics that you love so much. See which DJs were on the line-up.
