Fund raising 2005
Leicester Pride is a voluntary organisation with no paid staff. Everything we do gets done by volunteers.
It takes a lot of money to stage Pride. Some of this comes from grants, some from commercial sponsorship and some from fund raising events.
We are very grateful indeed to the venues that raised money for us through events.
Pride 2005 Fundraisers
Fri 27th May - Thank you Rang Night people and Quebec Club - over £70 raised for Pride. And a really great night too.
Sun 29th May - Thank you Rainbow and Dove - the night was an amazing success with loads of lovely people and a few stars too. Over £100 raised for Leicester Pride from the collection.
Sat 4th June - RAW night live music event was a resounding success. Great artists, lovely atmosphere. Thanks to Quebec for hosting the night. Over £200 raised. Excellent!
Sun 5th June - Pearl plodded around the park - met loads of people on the way, who gave us a positive response. Well done Pearl - you were fabulous darling!
Fri 24th June - Rang Night
Sunday 26th June - The DDC - collection made by Cookie after her fabulous performance which everyone loved. Thanks for that.
Wednesday 29th June - post-pride fundraiser at Str8 Club at Creation Night Club
Pearl plodded around Victora Park to raise money for Pride.
