Festival 2005

Leicester's MPs welcome PrideThe theme of Pride 2005 was:

Summer of love - peace, passion and partnerships.

All three of Leicester's Members of Parliament spoke at Leicester Pride, welcoming everyone on behalf of the City of Leicester.

This was the first time that any of our MPs had spoken at a Pride event. This picture shows (left to right), Sir Peter Soulsby (Leicester South), the Rt Hon Patrician Hewitt (Leicester West) and Keith Vaz (Leicester East) speaking during the address of welcome.
